Develop a conference session and accompanying activity for regional and senior managers to address an identified need for additional training and support in interpreting and applying P&L statements.
Developed a live training session using a case-study approach and partnered with FP&A to design the content. Together, we created a mock P&L for small breakout groups (3–6 participants) to analyze, embedding three distinct issues with different root causes and potential solutions. We also produced complementary daily, weekly, and monthly reporting documents to support deeper investigation and reinforce practical problem-solving.
Tested activity with a focus group of representative managers and refined the case study and and instructions based on their feedback.
Built accompanying PPT deck and instruction manual for presenters/session leaders who managed the sessions.
Post-conference evaluations consistently ranked this session among the top offerings of the event, with most attendees rating it informative, helpful, and highly memorable.
